Job summary

Nscale in Norway is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee on-site delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for hyperscale data centre projects, ensuring installation, commissioning and handover meet quality, safety and performance standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, consultants and suppliers, manage interfaces across MEP disciplines, and support change management, claims and commissioning documentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in MEP project delivery for data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven track record delivering large MEP scopes from installation through commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of power systems, cooling infrastructure, HVAC, controls and fire protection in critical environments.
• Experience with contractor management, coordination and performance monitoring on complex multi-package projects.
• Excellent communicator able to influence and coordinate across disciplines and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian language is advantageous.
• Willingness to be site-based in Norway.
• Experience with Norwegian construction sites, contractors or regulatory environments is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site MEP construction activities across multiple contractors, ensuring delivery to specification, budget, schedule, and standards.
• Provide technical oversight through design review, drawings and submittals, inspections; oversee commissioning documentation and handover packages.
• Manage day-to-day communications with MEP contractors, consultants and suppliers; chair coordination meetings; align with Civil, Structural, Architectural and Controls.
• Monitor MEP progress against the master program; track construction, procurement and commissioning milestones; report cost, quality, risk, and performance metrics.
• Promote safety, sustainability and energy efficiency; contribute to lessons learned and refinement of MEP delivery standards.
