Job summary

ITproposal is seeking an experienced Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to provide Break & Fix support across enterprise infrastructure in Norway on a freelance on-call basis.

The role requires CCNA certification, strong Nutanix expertise (AOS, AHV, Prism), and excellent written and spoken English for global collaboration.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware, virtualization, and network components, coordinating with regional teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues.
• Diagnose network connectivity involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Respond to incidents within agreed response times.
• Collaborate with global/regional teams on infra and cloud projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports.
