Job summary

Motive Offshore Group in Stavanger is seeking a Service Technician to commission and operate rental equipment offshore/onshore, ensuring compliance with HSEQ guidelines and client scopes. You will contribute to testing, inspection, and certification tasks, while developing technical skills across onshore and offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Time-served in a mechanical or engineering role.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience.
• Experience with subsea testing.
• Valid offshore survival certification (e.g. BOSIET/FOET).
• Valid driving licence.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Commission equipment at worksite and perform load test operations.
• Ensure safe operation within the allocated scope and client requirements.
• Complete required onsite paperwork such as post installation checks & maintenance records.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, servicing, and planned preventive maintenance on rental fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with the company to resolve faults.
• Conduct subsea testing operations in line with project specs and safety standards.
