Job summary

Baker Hughes in Stavanger seeks a Field Engineer – Cased Hole Wireline Intervention to deliver safe, efficient logging and well intervention services offshore. You will work with advanced wireline technologies and maintain equipment to the highest standards.

The role requires a university engineering degree, offshore qualifications, hands-on cased hole logging tools experience, and the ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Well Intervention operations, offshore wireline preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cased hole logging tools and tractor conveyance systems.
• Hold all required local certifications, offshore qualifications, and medical clearances as applicable.
• Demonstrate strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating proficiency across logging and well intervention service lines while maintaining service quality.
• Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and development of junior engineers and field personnel.
• Preparing, controlling, and maintaining equipment for logging and intervention operations.
• Liaising with customer representatives to ensure successful execution of operations and communication throughout the job.
• Recording and reporting operational non-conformities and supporting corrective actions.
• Performing cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and function testing of tools and equipment.
