Job summary

Midwest Pediatric Therapy in Bloomingdale, IL, is expanding and seeks full-time pediatric Occupational Therapists to join our therapist-owned practice. We value motivated, creative, outgoing professionals who are passionate about helping children and families and are excited by expanding our OT space and programming.

APPLY: You will evaluate and treat a variety of ages, work in the Bloomingdale clinic and conduct local home visits through the IL Early Intervention program, collaborating with OTs

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Illinois License in Occupational Therapy.
• Early Intervention Credential is required for full-time therapists (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and medically necessary documentation of clinical contacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other OTs & SLPs to share and expand clinical expertise.
• Evaluate and treat a variety of ages and abilities within the pediatric population.
• All full-time therapists see clients in our Bloomingdale clinic as well as conduct home visits for local families through the IL Early Intervention program.

We are currently seeking full-time pediatric Occupational Therapists. MWPT looks for therapists who are motivated, creative, outgoing and passionate about helping children and families. It is an exciting time to join our OT team as we has just started an expansion at our Bloomingdale office - the focus of this expansion will be to add to our OT space, creating a larger gym and treatment area, as well as expand our OT programming!

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Illinois License in Occupational Therapy.
• Early Intervention Credential is required for full-time therapists (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and medically necessary documentation of clinical contacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening.
• Be service oriented.
• Experience in instructing, monitoring and critical thinking.
• A valid driver’s license.
