Job summary

Midwest Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned private practice expanding to include Individual and Family Counseling. We are seeking a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Bloomingdale, IL team, with evening and/or Saturday availability.

You will provide psycho-social services, conduct individual and family therapies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and continuity of services for children and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Illinois License in Clinical Social Work.
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and medically necessary documentation of clinical contacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psycho-social services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment.
• Conduct individual and family therapies.
• See a minimum of 3 clients per week with flexibility to see more to accommodate scheduling as needed, with a focus on work-life balance.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure best practice and quality outcomes as well as ensure continuity of care.

Midwest Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned private practice that provides speech, language, feeding & occupational therapy to children of all ages. We serve families in Chicago's West and Northwest suburbs in our facility in Bloomingdale, IL. To fully satisfy the needs of our clients & family, Midwest Pediatric Therapy has expanded and recently added Individual and Family Counseling to our services. We are actively seeking part-time Social Workers who are self-motivated, creative and outgoing with evening and/or Saturday availability.

At MWPT

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Midwest Pediatric Therapy, you will:

• Provide direct psycho-social services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment.
• Conduct individual and family therapies.

What You Bring

• A desire and willingness to make an impact in the communication, confidence, self-advocacy and functional life skills of individuals with developmental delays and disorders.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Illinois License in Clinical Social Work.
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and medically necessary documentation of clinical contacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening.
• Be service oriented.
• Experience in instructing, monitoring and critical thinking.
• A valid driver’s license.
