Job summary

Cambi, a Norway-based leader in sustainable technology, seeks a Service Engineer for the Nordic region to own maintenance, reliability, and service growth across THP plants.

The role combines hands-on site work, planning, and client meetings, with opportunities to develop technical and commercial expertise. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, manage spares, and drive service agreements while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Engineer background in mechanical, process, chemical, automation or electrical.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, criticality analysis and spare parts management.
• Customer-facing experience or service sales is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across Nordic sites and work across borders.
• Proficient in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical contact for Nordic Cambi plants and ensure client satisfaction.
• Own maintenance and reliability for assigned plants and follow up with contractors as needed.
• Establish and follow maintenance plans covering preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance.
• Perform criticality analyses of equipment to define spare parts priorities.
• Travel to sites to troubleshoot, repair, or oversee contractor work.
• Manage spare parts needs, ordering, shipping, and delivery coordination.
• Identify service opportunities and support proposals, renewals and extensions.
• Prepare technical and commercial service/spare parts proposals with sales.
• Document site visits and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop service offerings and tools.
