Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) is seeking a Marine Personnel Recruitment Specialist to join our Marine HR team in Lysaker, Norway. You will lead end-to-end recruitment for seafarers, from sourcing and screening through to interviews, assessments and candidate selection, in a fast-paced, international maritime setting.

This role requires building strong talent pipelines, crafting engaging job adverts, coordinating psychometrics, and supporting stakeholders to hire the right people while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Experience managing multiple recruitment stages and processes.
• Strong interviewing, assessment and candidate-evaluation skills.
• Excellent written English and ability to create engaging content for candidates.
• Experience with psychometric assessment tools.
• Proficiency with recruitment systems and digital sourcing tools.
• Structured, proactive and service-minded approach.
• Experience from maritime industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of seafarers for current and future opportunities.
• Create engaging job advertisements and proactively source candidates online.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews and identify qualified candidates.
• Guide and support hiring stakeholders through the recruitment process.
• Act as a key link between candidates and Marine HR.
• Coordinate psychometric assessments and interpret results.
• Conduct reference checks and ensure compliance with training requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment information.
• Monitor metrics and KPIs to improve processes.
• Support employer branding and talent attraction activities.
