Job summary

Scanship AS is seeking a Project Planner to bring structure, clarity and momentum to our Maritime Solutions project portfolio. You will work closely with the Director of Projects & Engineering to ensure the right initiatives proceed at the right time across the teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating ongoing projects, developing schedules and capacity views, monitoring Power BI reports, raising risks, delivering PODs and FAT coordination, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant background in project coordination, planning, or engineering administration — from maritime, offshore, energy, or similar industries.
• Structured and detail-oriented, with a talent for keeping multiple workstreams organised simultaneously.
• Strong communicator who can bridge technical teams, shipyards, and management.
• Comfortable working in a project matrix structure with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in project planning and reporting tools — experience with Power BI is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English; Norwegian is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing projects across Maritime Solutions, ensuring alignment and information flow across project leads, engineering disciplines and internal functions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, and capacity overviews across the project portfolio.
• Monitor Power BI delivery reports to track equipment against contractual delivery dates; flag risks and send bi-weekly status updates to customers.
• Provide shipyards with PODs and shipping documentation when equipment cannot be located or requires verification.
• Coordinate FAT activities; invite shipyard, distribute punch lists and update stakeholders when items are resolved.
• Facilitate project meetings; prepare agendas, capture actions and follow up on decisions.
• Maintain and improve project documentation, reporting structures, and planning tools; prepare portfolio overviews for management and stakeholders.
