Job summary

Eltek Norway AS in Drammen seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to bridge R&D and production, blending electronics, test software and hardware know-how. You will develop test concepts, fixtures and automated test sequences to support EVT/DVT phases and enable reliable high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering.
• Experience with power electronics, power converters or related tech.
• Programming skills for automated testing and hardware apps.
• Hands-on problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Collaborative, proactive engineer able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and realize test concepts, flows and fixture configurations.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate test requirements into practical solutions.
• Define test fixtures, adapters and interfaces for safe connections.
• Develop, debug and optimize test code for automated sequences.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures and improve test performance.
• Create test specifications and maintain schematics, PCB layouts and BOMs.
• Transfer documentation and support factory in test equipment design for high-volume production.
• Provide hands-on factory support and fix fixtures/software issues to maintain uptime.
• Occasional planned business travel.
