AutoStore is seeking a Hardware Test & Automation Engineer to join our R&D team in Lysaker (Oslo) and Nedre Vats. You will develop automated testing solutions and support New Product Development of our hardware modules and sub-assemblies.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers to improve test processes, analyze results, and drive reliable validation. This role emphasizes hands-on testing and proactive problem-solving within a fast-growing, multinational environment.

Formación

• Engineering background in Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with PLC systems and test automation for hardware modules and test rigs.
• Hands-on hardware testing, prototyping, or lab environment within product development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement automated testing solutions for hardware modules and sub-assemblies.
• Plan and execute validation activities during early-stage New Product Development (NPD).
• Analyze test results to identify failures, trends, and improvements.
• Support root cause investigations and design validation with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and provide feedback and recommendations.
• Improve testing methods, tools, and processes to increase automation and efficiency.
