Job summary

Loadpoint is expanding and seeks a Manual Universal Grinder to join our precision manufacturing team in Ferndown. You will contribute to prototype and small-batch production with a focus on manual grinding across universal, cylindrical, internal and surface applications.

We value a hands-on craftsman who can read engineering drawings, work independently after training, and maintain strict quality and tolerances while developing skills towards CNC grinding.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in manual grinding across varied materials.
• Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to work independently after initial training.
• A keen eye for precision and quality.
• Enthusiasm to grow your skills into CNC Grinding.

Loadpoint is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Manual Universal Grinder who wants more than just a job. If you are a setter/operator with a passion for craftsmanship with and interest in progressing into CNC Grinding - this is an ideal opportunity.

You will be joining a specialist team producing prototype and small batch components for our inhouse designed Air Bearing Solutions. Expect variety with universal, cylindrical, internal, and surface grinding, across a wide range of materials, all to tight tolerances. A role where precision and quality genuinely matter.
