Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is hiring an experienced Maintenance Operative to perform planned and reactive maintenance across outdoor installations in the South East, primarily London. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, basic mechanical work and safety checks, and preparing tools and parts for on-site work.

You will travel between sites daily, maintain records, and ensure high standards of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, field service or handyman role.
• Good practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Experience carrying out repairs and fault-finding.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Comfortable travelling to different locations daily.
• Strong understanding of health and safety.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative, Facilities Assistant, Handyperson or Field Service Technician looking for a varied, hands-on role?

We are looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Operative to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of outdoor installations throughout the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and travelling between sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing a range of installed products and infrastructure, ensuring they remain safe, secure and fully operational for customers.

Duties will include:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites

• Basic mechanical repairs and adjustments
• Site inspections and safety checks
• Preparing and managing tools, materials and spare parts
