Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to perform EICRs, inspections, testing, and remedial works across London and the South East. You will produce detailed, compliant reports and work closely with clients and site teams to ensure high standards of workmanship.

Applicants should hold 18th Edition and 2391 (or equivalent), with strong reporting and communication skills. A full UK driving licence is required. Relocation to or presence in London preferred.

We're recruiting an experiencedElectrical Test Engineerto join a growing technical contractor carrying out EICRs, inspection & testing, and remedial works across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London and the South East.

This role is ideal for a quality-focused engineer who takes pride in producing accurate reports, delivering high standards of workmanship, and building strong client relationships.

The Role

• Carrying out EICRs across commercial sites


• Inspection, testing, and certification works


• Producing detailed and compliant reports


• Identifying defects and recommending remedial actions


• Completing remedial works where required


• Working closely with clients and site teams


• Ensuring compliance with BS7671 and industry standards

Requirements

• 18th Edition


• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)


• Experience carrying out commercial EICRs


• Strong understanding of BS7671


• Full UK Driving License


• Excellent reporting and communication skills

Desirable

• Commercial remedial experience


• IPAF / PASMA


• Compliance contract experience
