Job summary

Linde Gas AS in Oslo, Norway seeks a senior logistics leader to build and run the distribution organization for Bulk and Packaged Gases. You will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across the country, spanning road and rail multimodal networks.

You will lead the logistics team, manage fleets (about 40 Bulk vehicles and 50 PGP trucks), coordinate with regional operations, Sales, Procurement and SHEQ, and drive safety, continuity, and continuous improvement to meet objectives

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading logistics operations in a multimodal environment.
• Experience with ADR and GDP compliance.
• Proven track record in safety, service, productivity and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the logistics organization, with overall responsibility for Bulk and Packaged Gases and Products (PGP) distribution operations across Norway
• Manage the logistics team in Norway
• Oversee daily distribution operations involving approximately 40 Bulk vehicles and 50 PGP trucks
• Manage a multimodal PGP distribution network utilizing both road and rail transportation
• Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation, fleet, and contractor management
• Lead incident management and investigations, ensuring corrective actions and preventative measures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, service, productivity, and cost optimization
• Ensure business continuity, manage operational risks and disruptions
• Manage logistics budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to ensure delivery of business objectives
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, ADR, and GDP requirements
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, SHEQ, and logistics teams across Region Europe North (REN) to drive operational excellence and best-practice sharing
• RepresentLinde in local transport, contractor and regulatory interactions

• Further more ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, Agreement of Dangerous goods by Road (ADR,) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, SHEQ, and logistics teams across Region Europe North (REN) to drive operational excellence and best-practice sharing
• You will representLinde in local transport, contractor and regulatory interactions
