Job summary

Linde Gas AS in Oslo, Norway is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the Norwegian logistics organization, overseeing Bulk and Packaged Gases distribution and a sizable fleet, including road and rail operations. You will manage Norway's logistics team, drive safety, efficiency and cost optimization, and coordinate with regional teams to meet business objectives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's/Master's in a related field and 10+ years in logistics, with SAP and English fluency as assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant logistics experience is a plus.
• Experience leading operational teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning, inventory management and supply chain optimization.
• Understanding of HSE/SHEQ, ADR and GDP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the logistics organization across Norway with full accountability for Bulk and Packaged Gases and PGP distribution.
• Manage the logistics team in Norway and oversee daily operations with ~40 Bulk vehicles and ~50 PGP trucks.
• Operate a multimodal distribution network using road and rail transport.
• Ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective transport, fleet and contractor management.
• Drive corrective actions from incident management and investigations.
• Lead continuous improvement focusing on safety, service, productivity and cost optimization.
• Ensure business continuity, manage operational risks and disruptions.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and KPIs to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ADR, GDP, safety, quality and environmental requirements and collaborate across REN.

What Makes You Great

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• You have proven experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, fleet, and contractor management. +10 years of relevant experience is a plus
• Experience leading and developing operational teams in a dynamic environment
• Also strong knowledge of transport planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization
• Experience managing complex distribution networks and multimodal transportation solutionsFurther more good understanding of HSE/SHEQ, ADR, and GDP requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
• You are fluent in English; a Scandinavian language is an advantage
