Job summary

AutoStore System, Inc. is building a new test facility in Oslo and seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead system-level testing across hardware, software, and firmware. You will shape test strategies and coordinate across the R&D team to ensure reliability and safety of AutoStore products.

You will own test activities for prototypes and existing systems, contribute to the Oslo facility setup, and help scale testing capabilities with potential leadership responsibilities as the function grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in testing, validation, or related engineering roles.
• Experience with system-level testing across hardware, software and firmware.
• Experience planning, executing, and defect-managing testing activities.
• Familiarity with test automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of system-level testing and validation across AutoStore products (robots, ports, software, firmware, hardware).
• Develop and coordinate test strategies and plans to meet acceptance criteria and milestones.
• Investigate test failures with root cause analysis and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Improve testing processes, methodologies, and automation.
• Provide technical guidance across cross-functional teams and help grow the testing function.
• Contribute to the development of the new Oslo test facility and testing workflows with the Nedre Vats team.
