Job summary

AutoStore System, Inc in Norway is seeking a Lead Engineer to lead a small multidisciplinary team spanning electronics, firmware and mechanics. You will take technical ownership of sub-systems from concept to production and mentor engineers.

The role combines technical leadership with people management, coordinating milestones, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, System Architecture, Project Management, and Manufacturing. Location options Vindafjord or Oslo.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience in product development.
Background in firmware.
Experience leading engineers or technical teams.
Strong understanding of electronics, firmware and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Take technical ownership of assigned sub-systems from development through to production.
Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team across electronics, firmware, and mechanics.
Work with Product, System Architecture, Project Management, Supply Chain, Test, Compliance, and Manufacturing to meet milestones.
Support suppliers and production readiness while promoting good engineering practices.
Manage and develop a small, growing team including 1:1s, feedback, performance follow-up, mentoring and onboarding.
