Job summary

Checkout.com in London is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to drive technical deal execution for our issuing platform. You will collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, and Issuing Operations to position our card issuing capabilities and win complex, multi-product deals.

You will lead live demos, build POCs, and tailor presentations for developers and executives, while ensuring technical success from first contact to go-live, in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a high-velocity, client-facing technical role.
• UK & EEA Issuing Experience: hands-on with card programs.
• Expert understanding of card program mechanics and scheme compliance.
• Strong knowledge of payment flows, 3DS, tokenisation, SCA, and fraud controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical deal execution with Sales and Issuing Operations to position Checkout.com's card issuing platform and win complex deals.
• Architect card issuing solutions across virtual and physical cards, funding approaches, balance management, and API mappings.
• Build live demos, create POCs, and tailor technical presentations for developers, operators, and executives.
• Provide issuing domain leadership on Card Issuing, Program Management, Authorization & Settlement, Network Tokenisation, and related areas.
• Lead client technical interactions from discovery through go-live, coordinating with Implementation Engineers.
