Trainline is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, IT Solutions, to lead multiple engineering teams across our white label and DPAYG products. You will own end-to-end delivery, define roadmaps that align technical delivery with business goals, and partner with Product, Data and Commercial teams to maximise impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading engineering teams in a B2B or platform environment.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and develop future leaders.
• Ability to operate across technical, product and commercial domains to drive impact.
• Experience with distributed systems or microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams, coaching and developing engineers and managers.
• Own end-to-end delivery across white label and DPAYG products, ensuring measurable impact.
• Define roadmaps with Product, Data and Commercial to align technical delivery with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership across the IT Solutions domain without needing to be hands-on.
• Drive alignment across cross-team dependencies and ensure transparent prioritisation.
• Champion engineering best practices for scalable, resilient systems.
• Drive operational excellence with strong health monitoring and incident management.
