Job summary

AutoStore is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the R&D team in Norway. You will lead electronics development for Workstations and Ports, including motor drive design, and coordinate across disciplines from prototyping to mass production.

The role involves hands-on PCB work, system integration, and ensuring designs meet EMC/DFM/DFT and production requirements. Candidates may be based in Vindafjord (Nedre Vats) or Oslo (Lysaker) with European relocation possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Cybernetics/Robotics, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on electronics engineering experience including analog and digital design.
Experience with high-volume production, EMC/DFM/DFT, and motor drive design.

Responsibilities

Take technical ownership of electronics development for Workstations and Ports, including motor drive design and integration with other AutoStore hardware.
Coordinate electronics activities within the cross-functional New Product Development team, creating clear plans and delivering technical milestones.
Design and validate electronics solutions, considering interaction with the wider AutoStore product portfolio and system architecture.
Maintain technical documentation, project plans, and milestones to keep priorities clear.
Contribute throughout the full product lifecycle from concept and prototypes through testing, compliance, and mass production.
