Job summary

AutoStore AS is seeking a Lead Engineer for Robotics – New Product Development. You will technically own key sub-systems across electronics, firmware and mechanics, reviewing designs and guiding decisions from concept through production.

This role combines hands-on engineering with people leadership of a small team, planning work, tracking milestones and mentoring engineers. You will collaborate with product, system architecture, project management and manufacturing to meet milestones and drive

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in product development and leading engineers
• Strong technical understanding across electronics, firmware and mechanical systems
• Experience taking products from development through production and industrialisation

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of assigned sub-systems and drive design reviews
• Lead a multidisciplinary team across electronics, firmware and mechanics
• Coordinate work with Product, System Architecture, Project Management, Supply Chain, Test, Compliance, and Manufacturing
• Support suppliers and production readiness; promote standardisation and reuse
• Manage and develop a growing team with 1:1s, feedback and hiring
