Job summary

Land Surveyor - Svalbard Contract Position

We are currently hiring for a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in land surveying and possess strong knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques. This position does not include accommodation so candidates must be able to arrange their own housing. • Conduct land surveys using various equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and electronic distance-measuring instruments
• Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features
• Prepare accurate drawings, maps, and reports based on survey findings
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment as needed

Salary: This position offers a salary of $1800 per month.
