Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Os Norway. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in land surveying as well as a degree or certification in surveying or a related field.

As a Land Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting various types of surveys, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and maps, and ensuring accuracy of all measurements. The ability to use surveying equipment and software is essential for this role.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per week. Accommodation will not be provided, so the candidate must have their own visa and permit to work in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various types of surveys such as topographical, boundary, construction and control surveys
• Use surveying equipment including total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels to collect accurate data
• Analyze collected data using software such as AutoCAD and GIS
• Prepare detailed reports and maps based on survey results
• Ensure accuracy of all measurements and calculations
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
• Assist with training junior surveyors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in land surveying
• Degree or certification in surveying or related field (eg Geomatics)
