Job summary

Cambi, a world-leading Norwegian technology company, seeks an R&D Researcher to join our Technology Team. This hands-on laboratory role focuses on planning and conducting experiments, analyzing results and turning questions into testable hypotheses for which the answer is not known in advance.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment in Asker and Ås, contributing to lab studies and, when relevant, to full-scale trials and support for deployment of our THP technology.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education in science or engineering, typically MSc level, or equivalent competence demonstrated through experience.
• Background in chemical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, biotechnology, chemistry or another relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience with laboratory or experimental work through employment, research projects, thesis work or university laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and conduct laboratory experiments and R&D studies for internal development projects and customer testing.
• Formulate and test hypotheses to investigate technical questions and new ideas.
• Analyze, interpret, document and present experimental and process data for internal use, clients and at conferences.
• Ensure safe, efficient and well-organized operation of the laboratory.
• Take part in full-scale trials, sample collection and other field activities when relevant.
