Job summary

Cambi is seeking an R&D Researcher to join our Technology Team in Norway. This hands-on role focuses on planning and conducting experiments in the R&D lab, analysing results, and addressing technical questions for which answers are not known in advance.

You will engage in exploratory R&D and customer testing, turning findings into solutions for full-scale implementation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across locations, including Asker and Ås.

Qualifications

• Higher education in science or engineering at MSc level.
• Background in chemical, process, environmental engineering, biotechnology, or chemistry.
• Experience with laboratory or experimental work.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and conduct laboratory experiments and R&D studies.
• Formulate and test hypotheses to investigate technical questions.
• Analyse, interpret, document and present experimental data.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of the laboratory.
• Participate in full-scale trials and sample collection when relevant.
• Support commissioning teams during ramp-up of anaerobic digesters.
