Job summary

Aibel, a leading provider of EPCI services for offshore energy, invites a Process Engineer to contribute from concept through detailed design and execution. The role emphasizes delivering PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, line lists and process calculations while supporting studies and process simulations.

You will collaborate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation and electrical engineers, participate in design reviews and HAZID/HAZOP sessions, and assist with commissioning and start‑up support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process, Chemical, Energy, or related Engineering.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of oil and gas, energy, or industrial process systems.
• Knowledge of process engineering principles, including mass and energy balances.
• Experience with process simulation tools is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Norwegian regulations and offshore industry standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, line lists, and process calculations.
• Support engineering studies and process simulations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and electrical engineers.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and other technical meetings.
• Assist with technical queries, documentation activities, and commissioning/start‑up support.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
