Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS in Norway invites applications for a Senior/Principal Process Engineer to join our Stavanger team. You will perform process simulations, contribute to process design, and prepare P&IDs, line lists and design reports in an offshore/onshore oil & gas context.

The ideal candidate has a master or bachelor in chemistry or process engineering, 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry on the NCS, and strong Norwegian and English communication.

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor degree in Chemistry or process related Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in process engineering within the Oil&Gas industry on the NCS.
• Experience with EPCIC, FEED and early study projects.
• Experience with process simulation tools such as HYSYS, UNISIM and/or Flarenet.
• Experience with offshore process and utility systems and process control.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate process simulations.
• Preliminary and detail process design.
• Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment.
• Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports.
• Project work in multi discipline teams.
• Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews, etc.
