Norconsult Group is seeking a Graduate/Junior Consultant in Marine Structural Engineering in Trondheim. You will engage in design, analysis, and concept development for marine structures, collaborating with clients and senior engineers from day one.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary projects spanning aquaculture systems, renewable energy, and coastal infrastructure, while developing independent problem-solving and teamwork skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Final year MSc/PhD in Marine Technology or related field, or up to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in structural design, numerical modelling.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication in English; Norwegian helpful to learn.

Responsabilités

• Structural design and analysis of marine structures
• Concept development and design of marine structures with clients
• Assessment of environmental load effects on structures
• Analysis of slender marine structures and hydroelastic systems
• Preparation of calculations, reports and technical documentation
