Norconsult is seeking a graduate or junior consultant in Marine Structural Engineering to join our team in Trondheim at Lerkendal. You will work on marine structures, collaborate with clients, learn from experienced engineers, and take on real responsibility from day one.

In this role you will contribute to concept development, design and verification of floating aquaculture systems, renewables and coastal projects, applying FE analysis and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Final-year MSc/PhD or up to 5 years of relevant experience in Marine Technology, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in structural design, analysis, and numerical modelling.
• Fluent English; Norwegian language skills are advantageous but not required.

Responsabilités

• Structural design and analysis of marine structures.
• Finite element analyses.
• Concept development and design of marine structures in collaboration with clients (e.g., floating aquaculture systems).
• Assessment of structural response to environmental loads.
• Analysis of slender marine structures and hydroelastic systems.
• Prepare calculations, reports and technical documentation.
