Norconsult in Trondheim is seeking a Graduate/Junior Consultant in Marine Structural Engineering to join our marine technology team. You will work on structural design, analysis, and verification of marine structures, collaborating with clients and senior engineers from day one.

The role targets graduates or early-career professionals with MSc/PhD in Marine Tech or Structural Eng, up to five years' experience, and strong modelling skills. Norwegian language is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Final year MSc/PhD in Marine Tech, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Interest in marine structures, analytical design, and modelling.
• Strong communication in English; Norwegian language is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Structural design and analysis of marine structures.
• Concept development and design of marine structures with clients.
• Assess structural response to environmental loads.
• Analyze slender marine structures and hydroelastic systems.
• Perform verification against design standards and site conditions.
• Collaborate with hydrodynamic and other disciplines.
• Prepare calculations, reports and technical documentation.
