Qualifications

• Final year MSc/PhD or up to 5 years of relevant experience in Marine Technology or Structural Engineering, preferably with marine structures specialization.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in structural design, numerical modelling and concept development.
• Good communication in English; Norwegian is an advantage and can be developed.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis of marine structures.
• Finite element analyses.
• Concept development and design of marine structures in collaboration with clients.
• Assessment of structural response to environmental loads.
• Analysis of slender marine structures and hydroelastic systems.
• Structural verification against design standards and site conditions.
• Collaboration with hydrodynamic and other engineering disciplines.
• Preparation of calculations, reports and technical documentation.
