Job summary

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA in Bodø is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our IT Operations team. You will manage, monitor and maintain systems and infrastructure behind our operation, ensuring stable, secure and efficient IT services.

You will work with colleagues across Norwegian and Widerøe, drive automation, support external vendors, and contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement in IT Operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
• Experience with Intune, Citrix, SharePoint, networking/Wi-Fi, IT security, monitoring and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Experience with automation; Terraform is an advantage.
• Knowledge of identity and access solutions such as Okta and Appgate is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language.
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented with initiative and collaboration in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT System Administrator to join our IT Operations team.

Technology plays a critical role in keeping our airline operations running every day. In this role, you will help maintain, support and continuously improve the IT systems and infrastructure behind our operation, ensuring stable, secure and efficient IT services.

The position is based in Bodø, where you will join an established IT environment and work closely with colleagues across both Norwegian and Widerøe. In this role, you will:

We believe you will thrive in this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience within IT Operations, preferably in an environment with high availability and SLA requirements
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies
• Experience with technologies such as Intune, Citrix, SharePoint, networking/Wi-Fi, IT security, monitoring and automation
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Experience with automation; knowledge of Terraform is an advantage
• Knowledge of identity and access solutions such as Okta and Appgate is an advantage
• Experience working with external vendors and technology partners
• Good communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language
• You are structured, analytical and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking initiative, solving problems and collaborating with others in a dynamic environment. Most importantly, you bring curiosity and a genuine interest in technology and continuous improvement.
