Job summary

Arcas Technology is partnering with a leading construction company based in London that is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide first and second-line technical support to ensure the efficient operation of the IT infrastructure.

This role involves supporting O365, Teams, Azure, Intune, Windows 10/11, Sonicwall VPN, AV/VC equipment, and more, including setting up construction sites in London with internet access and print

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support and infrastructure maintenance.
• Proficiency with O365, Teams, Azure, Intune, Windows 10/11, and Sonicwall VPN.
• Experience imaging and preparing laptops and iOS devices.
• Knowledge of AV/VC equipment and video conferencing solutions.
• Experience with software deployment and hardware refresh projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• 1st and 2nd Line Support: Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users.
• Infrastructure Support: Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure (O365, Teams, Azure, Intune, Windows).
• Laptop/IOS Device Preparation: Image and prepare devices for new employees.
• AV/VC Equipment Support: Set up and troubleshoot AV and video conferencing equipment.
• VPN Support: Maintain Sonicwall VPN for secure remote access.
• Software Deployment: Deploy new software applications to end-user devices.
• Hardware Refresh Project: Support Windows 11 upgrades and hardware refresh efforts.
• Desk Side Support: Provide hands-on support at user desks and log tickets.
• Mobile Device Management: Set up iPhones using Intune MDM.
• Construction Site IT Setup: Establish internet and printing capabilities at remote sites.
