About the role

To strengthen our Communication & Marketing team and to support a growing portfolio of strategic initiatives across our global organization, we are hiring an Internal Communications Manager.

This is a newly established role with a clear focus on internal communication, employee engagement and leadership communication, while also supporting the wider communications landscape.

You will be part of a close-knit and professional Communication & Marketing team of nine people. We work as one team, contributing and collaborating across communication activities whenever needed.

In this role, you will help employees, managers and leaders navigate key business priorities, organizational changes and strategic initiatives. You will play a key role in turning complex topics into clear and relevant communication that drives understanding, engagement and action across the organization. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution where you take ownership, create structure and move projects from idea to execution.

We are looking for an experienced communications professional with a broad background across different areas of the field. The successful candidate enjoys working in a global company with colleagues and stakeholders from different cultures and countries, where English is the working language.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver internal communication for strategic initiatives, organizational changes and business priorities, ensuring messages are timely, relevant and aligned across the organization.

  • Partner with and advise senior leaders and key stakeholders on communication strategies and key messages, ensuring clear and consistent communication across regions, functions and employee groups.

  • Translate complex business priorities into clear and engaging communication that employees can understand, relate to and act on, turning key messages into compelling stories that resonate.

  • Create and produce engaging content for internal channels and formats, ensuring communication is clear, relevant and tailored to different audiences.

  • Take ownership of communication projects, driving them from planning to successful delivery in a dynamic environment.

  • Lead and execute internal communication campaigns and activities to build awareness, deepen understanding and strengthen employee engagement.

  • Own and develop internal communication channels and formats as the intranet, Viva Engage, town halls, newsletters, leadership messages and leadership communication and tools to support managers.

  • Drive and measure communication effectiveness through employee listening, engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms and communication insights.

  • Contribute to the broader Communication & Marketing agenda, as part of a small, collaborative team working across all levels, from strategy to hands‑on execution.

The role is based at our office in Lysaker, Norway, and reports to the Senior Communications Manager.
