Job summary

VARD Interiors AS is seeking a Supervisor Interior to manage and coordinate interior installation activities across our projects. You will supervise installation companies, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards, and monitor daily progress on site.

You will work with the Production Coordinator Interior and Department Manager Interior to plan activities, interface with Hull, Paint, Electrical, Piping and HVAC, resolve installation challenges, and ensure

Qualifications

• Vocational education or equivalent technical background.
• Experience within interior installation, shipbuilding, construction, or similar industries.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken; strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and prioritize work for installation companies.
• Coordinate installation activities with other departments such as Hull, Paint, Electrical, Piping, and HVAC.
• Ensure work is completed according to quality requirements and planned schedules.
• Participate in inspections with Class and/or Owners and ensure remarks are closed.
• Report installation progress and deviations on a weekly basis.
• Perform final inspections and handover of completed areas.
