Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to own the devices and infrastructure in our AI Data Center. You will ensure 24/7 operational reliability, oversee personnel, maintain critical infrastructure, and meet client-driven SLA and KPI requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Operations, this role entails close collaboration with internal teams, clients and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years managing data centers, especially HPC/GPU environments.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Strong client-facing reporting and vendor coordination.
• Technical expertise in HPC, GPU deployments, and power/cooling systems.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Site & infrastructure management for the AI data center.
• Lead and mentor engineers, technicians and support staff.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors on procurement and repairs.
• Manage on-call rotations and travel to other sites as needed.
• Monitor performance, implement improvements, and ensure SLA/KPI targets.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management and clients.
