Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our companys data and systems. They will be based in our office in Alta ensuring that all sensitive information is protected from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security breaches
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Implement security measures such as firewalls and encryption to protect company data
• Investigate and respond to security incidents including containment, eradication and recovery
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and guidelines
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies
• Train employees on security awareness
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper configuration of systems

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security
• Knowledge of various operating systems Windows Linux
• Familiarity with network protocols TCPIP DNS
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools Nmap Nessus
• Understanding of risk management principles
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in information security CISSP CISM
• Experience in incident response handling

Location

This position is based in Alta but candidates from other locations are welcome to apply.

Salary

The salary for this role is 1500$ per month.
