We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team in Bergen As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for protecting the companys computer systems and networks from potential cyber threats Your main duties will include conducting regular security assessments monitoring network activity implementing security protocols and responding to security incidents

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities in the companys systems
• Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or potential security threats
• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of company data
• Respond to security incidents by investigating containing and resolving them in a timely manner
• Stay up-to‑date with the latest trends and developments in information security and make recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards
• Provide training and support to employees on information security best practices

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Information Security Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark or Snort
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills in English

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position In addition we provide free visa sponsorship and ticket expenses for international candidates

Location

This position is based in Bergen Norway However we are open to considering remote work options for exceptional candidates
