Job summary

Carbon Limits AS in Oslo, Norway, is seeking an Engineer to join our methane mitigation projects in the oil and gas sector. You will work with governments, NGOs, development banks, and operators to translate complex data into practical emission-reduction actions.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of relevant technical experience in the oil & gas sector with upstream exposure.
Resourcefulness, flexibility and a sense of adventure for field sites and challenging projects.
Solutions-oriented mindset; translates technical analysis into practical recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to turn data into insights.
Willingness to travel internationally to client sites and the field.
Excellent English, written and spoken; drafting client-facing material from early on.
Translate complex issues into practical language for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Work in project teams delivering high-impact consulting for governments, NGOs, development banks, and operators.
From day one, apply upstream background to real-world problems; analyze operations and emissions data; join field campaigns.
Lead workstreams over time and own delivery end-to-end; collaborate across cultures and geographies.
