Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Automation & Process Control team in Kongsberg. You will deliver high-quality software solutions for marine and offshore systems, from engineering and configuration to commissioning and sea trials.

You will own the software lifecycle, participate in IAT, FAT, and CAT, and provide technical support across departments. Hybrid working arrangements and travel to project sites are part of the role, with global collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, automation, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience with automation systems, marine equipment, or control systems.
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
Strong communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

Own the software lifecycle from development to delivery.
Prepare for and actively participate in various project stages, including IAT, FAT, and CAT.
Engage in commissioning activities.
Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Contribute to the successful implementation of the new K-Chief product.
Travel as required to support project needs.
