Job summary

Onyx Technologies Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to keep the Group's people productive by resolving day-to-day technology issues and maintaining dependable workplace systems. The role blends troubleshooting, device setup, access administration, and documentation in a hybrid, full-time setting within the Onyx Technologies business unit.

You will support laptops, accounts, and business apps, diagnose incidents, and ensure compliance with approved controls while helping colleagues use

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Windows/macOS support, networking fundamentals, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, endpoint troubleshooting, and service-desk practices.
• Clear communication, strong documentation habits, and the judgement to handle users and operational information with care.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL or relevant cloud-support certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely first- and second-line support for laptops, accounts, business applications, connectivity, and collaboration tools.
• Diagnose incidents, document work accurately, and follow issues through to a confirmed resolution.
• Set up and maintain user devices, access permissions, software, and core workplace technology in line with approved controls.
• Monitor recurring issues, improve support guidance, and escalated infrastructure or security risks with useful technical context.
• Help colleagues use technology safely through patient guidance on account security, data handling, and reliable working practices.
