Job summary

Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental programs on data centre projects, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

You will promote HSE standards, conduct onsite risk assessments, document compliance, and guide project management through regulatory requirements and company/client expectations.

The role requires a four-year degree and seven years of related experience, with data centre or mission-critical environment exposure.

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned HSEManager with extensive hands‑on experience increatingand sustaining a productive and safe work environment to avoid and minimize human injury, environmental degradation and unsafe working conditions/practices, particularly on data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and foster Company HSEstandards and goals with programs throughout the Company and/or project to confirm a safe and productive work environment
• Prepare, maintain, interpret and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of HSE standards and goals through its programs
• Plan, conduct and document work requiring independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria: perform analysis of regulations against project needs so that design will comply with regulations
• Confirm project site adheres to Company and regulatory HSE standards and guidelines
• Conduct onsite risk assessment and mitigation
• Apply regulatory requirements to provide guidance and recommendations to project management; participate in monitoring and controlling HSE standards, applicable laws and regulations; and design and review a project plan or schematic to confirm compliance with all governmental regulations and Company/client requirements

Required Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) yearsof work-related experience
• Experience in data centres or mission critical environments, such as pharma / life sciences, nuclear or battery projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
