Job summary

Lady Of The Sea Medical Clinic seeks a FULL-TIME Materials Coordinator to support the Materials Management team. You will assist with procurement, supplier evaluation, quotes analysis, and price negotiations for supplies and equipment across hospital campuses.

You will receive, store, stock and distribute materials, while maintaining inventory levels to minimize shortages. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years buyer experience in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of Louisiana Public Bid Law preferred.
• Healthcare inventory control experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all vendors and manufacturers.
• Able to work independently or as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager of Materials in procurement of supplies, services and equipment after reviewing specifications, selecting suppliers and securing quotes.
• Review quotes, negotiate price, and ensure delivery for hospital campus and surrounding campuses.
• Physically and electronically receiving, storing, stocking and distributing all supplies and mail.
• Maintain inventory levels and minimize shortages across campuses.
