Qualifications

• Significant experience leading software engineering teams shipping and operating production systems at scale.
• Breadth across frontend, backend, and data engineering with credibility to lead all three.
• Experience with modern backend and cloud architectures, distributed systems and data infrastructure.
• Strong engineering practices: CI/CD, automated testing, observability.
• Proven ability to influence product and hardware teams to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, delivery and operational health of Monil's software platform across frontend, backend, and data.
• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering organisation: hiring, mentoring, structuring teams, and setting the bar.
• Define and drive software engineering standards across the platform including CI/CD, testing, observability and on-call practices.
• Build the data foundation turning telemetry into reliable, queryable, and actionable data.
• Partner with Product to translate roadmaps into deliverable engineering plans and manage trade-offs.
• Collaborate with R&D on device-to-cloud boundary, telemetry contracts, OTA, and device management.
• Own delivery: balance feature velocity with architectural and operational work for scale.
