Purpose
Build and lead Dintero's enterprise & platform sales function across the Nordics, with a primary focus on Unified Commerce & Platforms. The role is responsible for both setting the commercial direction and delivering on it - closing strategic deals personally while building a team that can scale Dintero's enterprise business.
The role in practice
This is a player-coach role. During the first 12 months, the focus is on actively selling on strategic accounts while simultaneously building the function - hiring, coaching, and setting the operating standards. As the team grows beyond four sellers, the balance shifts further toward leadership and commercial strategy.
The Head of Platforms & Enterprise owns Dintero's commercial relationships with the largest retailers and platforms in the Nordics - and is expected to operate at C-level with prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders alike.
Key responsibilities
Commercial leadership
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Enterprise and Platforms across the Nordics
- Own the segment's P&L target and the pipeline that delivers it
- Shape Dintero's positioning, pricing, and commercial terms for enterprise deals
- Develop and grow strategic partner relationships
Personal selling
- Lead and close Dintero's most strategic enterprise opportunities
- Operate as the senior commercial face of Dintero with C-level decision-makers at target accounts
- Build pipeline through network, outbound, partnerships, and inbound activity
Team building & leadership
- Inherit, assess, and develop the existing team of two senior sellers
- Hire 3-5 additional sellers over the next 12 months in line with traction
- Set the standard for sales methodology, pipeline discipline, and CRM hygiene
- Coach the team through deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and 1:1s
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO, product, and solution engineering teams to evolve Dintero's enterprise proposition
- Provide structured market and customer feedback to product and pricing
- Contribute to broader commercial strategy and forecasting
Measures of success
- CM delivered from Enterprise and Platforms segment (personal + team)
- Pipeline coverage and quality against target
- Team performance: ramp time, quota attainment, retention
- Strategic wins: signing reference-grade enterprise accounts that move the market
- Operational discipline: CRM data quality, forecast accuracy, sales process consistency
Required experience
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience, leading, scaling and coaching a sales team in payment industry
- Strong, documented track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise deals in the Nordic market
- Experience selling both in-store terminal solutions and online/e-commerce payments (unified commerce)
- Strong commercial and technical fluency - comfortable across APIs, integrations, platform architecture, and pricing models such as IC++
- Existing network within Nordic enterprise retail
- Fluent/native in at least one Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish) and fluent in English
- Self-driven, structured, and comfortable operating in a scale-up environment with limited established process
Strong plus
- Experience selling through and building partnerships with e-com platforms and integration partners
- Network across marketplace or platform verticals
Profile
The right candidate has been the senior seller in the room and now wants the team behind them too. They know how to navigate procurement, win over a CFO, and keep momentum through a long sales cycle. As a leader they coach rather than command - comfortable letting good sellers own their deals while raising the bar on process and discipline. They feel at home in a scale-up: limited established process, fast decisions, and real ownership of outcomes.
