Job description

Build the commercial operating system that makes growth dependable
What this role is

We are looking for a commercially minded operator who can make the systems behind Growth reliable and turn paid activity into qualified demand. You will own the foundations that let Sales and Marketing move quickly with confidence: HubSpot, lifecycle and routing logic, campaign measurement, data quality, and the operational backbone of email and paid campaigns.

You will also run paid acquisition and demand-capture activity across our priority use cases. This is not a role for someone who optimises for clicks or busy dashboards. You will connect audience, offer, creative, landing page, routing and sales follow-up, then improve the full loop based on what creates genuine commercial momentum.

Sales owns the commercial conversation. Product owns the in-product experience and instrumentation.

You own the connective infrastructure and campaign engine that help the right opportunities reach the right people, with clear evidence of what is working.

Top 3 Responsibilities
1) Growth Operations & Commercial Infrastructure (Core)

Own the systems and guardrails that make the commercial machine dependable.

  • Own HubSpot governance: lifecycle stages, key properties, naming conventions, workflows and change discipline.
  • Build and maintain lead capture, enrichment, scoring, routing and service-level workflows across sales-led and marketing-led motions.
  • Own our email and CRM infrastructure: segmentation, nurture implementation, campaign operations, deliverability fundamentals and data quality.
  • Maintain trustworthy campaign and funnel reporting, including UTM standards, source logic and dashboards that support real decisions.
  • Identify and remove leakage, duplication, manual workarounds and other friction in the lead-to sales journey.
2) Paid Demand Generation & Conversion

Run focused paid campaigns that earn relevant attention and improve the quality of opportunities entering the commercial motion.

  • Plan, launch and optimise priority paid campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn and Google, within agreed strategy and budget guardrails.
  • Own the performance loop: ICP audience, offer, creative angle, landing page alignment, conversion tracking, sales outcome and learning.
  • Build clear test plans and turn results into practical recommendations, not vanity-metric reporting.
  • Work with GTM Enablement, Content and Design to translate proven market messaging into high-performing campaign assets.
  • Manage channel pacing and recommend budget shifts based on qualified demand and pipeline evidence.
3) Growth Systems, Automation & Shared Leverage

Turn useful ways of working into durable systems the whole Growth team can rely on.

  • Evaluate and integrate relevant growth tools across the stack, with a bias toward simplicity, adoption and measurable leverage.
  • Turn validated AI-enabled workflows and prototypes into documented, maintainable systems rather than individual workarounds.
  • Create lightweight playbooks, reporting rhythms and change logs so the operating system is understood and used across the team.
  • Act as a practical sparring partner to Sales, Marketing and Product when commercial data or tooling is getting in the way of progress.
Must Haves
  • 4–7+ years of experience spanning B2B marketing operations and performance or demand-generation marketing.
  • Strong hands-on HubSpot capability, including CRM data structure, workflows, lists, forms, campaign operations, reporting and lifecycle logic.
  • Proven ability to plan and optimise paid campaigns on LinkedIn and/or Google around commercial quality, not only lead volume.
  • Sound understanding of tracking, attribution trade-offs, UTMs, conversion paths and how Sales follow-up affects campaign performance.
  • A systems mindset: you document, improve and make work reusable instead of solving the same problem repeatedly.
  • High agency and good judgment: you can investigate ambiguity, propose a practical direction and ship a sound V1 without waiting for detailed instructions.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in an enterprise B2B or hybrid sales-led growth environment with long buying cycles and small qualified audiences.
  • Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, enrichment/outbound tools, APIs or no-code automation platforms.
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted workflows, lightweight scripting or data analysis.
  • Interest in games, gaming technology, digital platforms or data products.
Characteristics
  • Commercially rigorous: you care about qualified opportunity creation and revenue relevance, not activity for its own sake.
  • A builder with operational discipline: you enjoy getting the plumbing right because it lets everyone else move faster.
  • Fast and pragmatic: you protect the essentials while shipping enough to learn.
  • Clear collaborator: you can translate technical choices into plain language and work well across Sales, Marketing and Product.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
  • A clear, adopted view of the commercial data model, lead flow, routing rules and the highest-priority operational gaps.
  • A reliable baseline for campaign tracking and funnel reporting that leaders and operators trust.
  • Priority paid campaigns running with clear ICP, offer, conversion and sales-follow-up logic.
  • The most important email, routing and data-hygiene gaps resolved or on a credible implementation plan.
  • A practical backlog of automation and AI-enabled improvements, prioritised by commercial leverage rather than novelty.
How you’ll work with the team

Sales: You ensure high-intent leads are routed cleanly, campaign signals are visible and learnings from conversations improve targeting and follow-up.

GTM Enablement: You translate priority messaging and use cases into campaign setup, performance tests and feedback loops.

Content and Design: You give clear performance briefs and help make winning assets reusable across channels.

Product: You align external lifecycle and conversion signals with product truth, without taking ownership of in-product mechanics.

Why take this role

You will make a direct difference to how Gameopedia grows: less manual friction, clearer commercial evidence, faster execution and better-quality opportunities. It is a broad, high-leverage role for someone who enjoys improving the machine as much as running it.

What you can expect from us
  • A collaborative, international team working across Norway, India and the US.
  • The scope and trust to build systems, improve them and see the commercial impact of your work.
  • Flexible work-life balance, strong benefits and a culture that values clarity, care and continuous improvement.
