Job summary

Skuld, a world-class marine insurer based in Oslo, seeks a Group Accounting & Process Lead who will modernise financial reporting, drive automation and data-driven finance across the group. You will prepare group statements, strengthen controls and support international entities within a forward-looking finance team.

The role requires a Master’s in Finance, 5+ years in accounting/auditing, IFRS/NGAAP knowledge, ERP and Power BI experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or a related field
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of NGAAP and IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems, data warehouses and Power BI
• Interest in automation, data analytics and process improvements
• Fluent English, high professional level
• Experience from the insurance industry is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate group financial statements, consolidation, and external reporting
• Drive improvements in accounting processes via standardisation, controls, automation and data platforms
• Act as SME on accounting, tax, VAT and related financial reporting matters
• Support international entities with accounting assessments and local statutory reporting while aligning with group needs
• Participate in cross-functional teams to develop future-oriented finance solutions

The role

As a Group Accounting & Process Lead,you willbe responsible forpreparingthe group financial statementand financial reportingwhile serving as a key driver of digitalisation, automation, and data-driven finance management. You will be part of a strong and forward-looking finance team, working across the organisation to enhance financial processes, strengthen controls, and support high-quality decision-making.The position is part of our Accounting team in Oslo.

What you will do:

• Prepare and coordinate group financial statements, consolidation, and external financial reporting
• Drive improvements in accounting and reporting processes across the Skuld Group through standardisation, stronger controls, automation, and effective use of Skuld’s systems and new data platform.
• Act as a subject matter expert within accounting, tax, VAT, and related financial reporting matters
• Support finance functions inSkuld’sinternational entities and branches, including accounting assessmentsandreporting processesand helpidentifysolutions that meet local statutory requirements while supporting group accounting, reporting, and control needs.
• Participate in cross functional teamsto develop future-oriented finance solutions

What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting,Auditingor a related field
• Minimumfiveyears of relevant experience from accounting,auditor financial reporting
• Strong understanding of NGAAP and IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems, datawarehousesand Power BI
• Interest in automation, dataanalyticsand process improvements
• Ability to connect accountingexpertisewith technology and business needs
• Experience from the insurance industry is an advantage
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, at a high professional level
