Job summary

Subsea7 in Stavanger invites graduates to join its Commercial Graduate Development Scheme, spanning Project Cost Control, Tendering, HSSEQ and HR. The program offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to a global energy company focused on sustainable value.

You will rotate across functions, gain budgeting, tender submissions, safety and people strategies, and work alongside experienced professionals. Onboarding is in September 2027 with a buddy system and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Graduates in BSc/MSc/MBA in HR, Administration or Psychology, Economics/Finance, Health/Safety, or Business and Legal Studies.
• Interest in energy transition and sustainable value creation.
• Willingness to develop across multiple commercial disciplines in a global company.

The Graduate Development Scheme

As a Commercial Graduate you will join one of the key commercial departments. The departments in this programme include Project Cost Control, Tendering, HSSEQ and HR.

The departments

Project Cost Control

This function is part of the Project Services and comprises Cost Management. The role ensures the provision of all cost control on the project including budget set up, updates and monitoring, change management, variation estimating, cost reporting, risk contingency and management as well as all forecasting activities.

Tendering

The overall task in Tendering is to secure order intake for Subsea7 Norway.

The Tendering department is responsible for compilation, submission and negotiation of the Tender submission from receipt of requests from Clients, through clarifications and negotiation, to award and handover to the execution teams, in line with Company strategy to maximise the return on assets and minimise risk exposure. Tendering is part of an overall Sales & Marketing Department, together with business functions of Market Analysis and Business Planning and Business Development.

HSSEQ

The purpose of the HSSEQ function is to be a relevant business partner providing a Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality framework to enable the organisation to achieve this commitment.

HR

As an HR Graduate, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience while contributing to the energy transition. You will develop skills across a range of HR disciplines, including onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations, while supporting both managers and employees in a dynamic international environment. Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you will gain insight into how HR supports business performance through people strategies, policies, and employee engagement.
