DNV Group invites graduates to join its Subsea, Risers and Pipelines team in 2027. You will contribute to analyses, verification, certification and asset integrity across offshore and subsea assets, with mentorship and hands-on project experience from day one.
The program places you in a collaborative environment across disciplines and international networks, with exposure to cutting-edge tools and standards development.
The Subsea, Risers and Pipelines department provides technical assurance, advisory, verification, certification and asset integrity services to the global energy industry. We support offshore and subsea infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, from technology development, design and qualification to operation, recertification, life extension and decommissioning.
Our teams combine deep technical expertise with customer collaboration, research and development, digitalization, software development and the creation of internationally recognized standards.
We are looking for 5 young professionals who are ready to start their journey with us in August 2027.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will join one of our technical teams while also collaborating across the department and DNV's international technical network.
You will receive mentoring, technical training and practical project experience from the beginning. You will work with and learn from recognized specialists while gradually developing responsibility for your own technical work and customer interactions.
Applicants may indicate an interest in one or more of the following areas:
You may work with recertification and verification of subsea, drilling, well control and workover equipment, as well as asset integrity management, operational support, failure investigations and lifetime extension of offshore assets. The work combines technical analysis, documentation review, customer interaction and occasional field activities.
You may work with risers, well systems, umbilicals and cables subjected to structural and hydrodynamic loading. Projects can support offshore wind, oil and gas, floating energy systems and future energy infrastructure. The work may include advanced numerical modelling, structural mechanics, hydrodynamics, data analysis and digital tool development.
You may support the design, qualification, verification and integrity management of submarine pipeline systems. Projects include developments in Norway and internationally within oil and gas, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and other emerging energy applications. You may also contribute to technical advisory services, research, training, software development and the continued development of industry standards.
